Elise lives in Sydney, NSW, and has recently joined ACCAN's Accessible Telecoms team.

As a person who lives with a disability, Elise has a keen interest in harnessing technology to overcome barriers. This in turn has grown a wealth of knowledge that she hopes will enable others to feel empowered and confident in using communications technology to improve their own lives.

Elise is a passionate advocate for accessibility and has built a career of public facing roles across government and the non-profit sector,  where she has leveraged her keen interests to support Australians with many aspects of digital life; from the digital TV switchover, to supporting cancer patients using virtual communication alternatives during Covid lockdowns. 

As part of the Accessible Telecoms team, Elise speaks with seniors and people with a disability to provide advice on accessible mobile phones, tablets, apps and accessories, and if she doesn't already know the answer you can be sure she will find one!
